This workshop will review everything you need to know to help you make the decision, covering topics such as the potential benefits, shopping strategies, resources and more. Subsequent field trips to local grocery stores will also be scheduled so that participants can put into action what they learned. This workshop is geared towards people who are new to the GFCF diet or are considering trying it.

Refreshments and samples of Gluten Free and/or Casein Free products will be available.

Lauren I. Mirkin, MS, CNS, CN is a board- certified holistic nutritionist with more than 20 years experience helping people of all ages discover and experience the benefits of healthier eating. She also designs natural-medicine protocols which may incorporate nutritional supplements and herbal or homeopathic remedies She is skilled at helping create specialized eating plans for many conditions including weight loss, diabetes and GI conditions. She has a special interest in designing therapeutic diets for those on the autistic spectrum and those with mood or concentration difficulties. She also enjoys helping parents navigate the supermarket maze.
