Proposed Changes to Autism Waiver Services

Interested persons have the opportunity to submit comments on proposed changes to services covered under the Maryland Autism Waiver in proposed COMAR 10.09.56 published in the January 29 Maryland Register. Among other changes, the regulations cut the maximum number of intensive support services from 30 to 25 hours per week, cut family training from a 60 to 40 hours per year maximum, and limit therapeutic integration services to 20 hours per week. Comments are due by March 1 and may be submitted by email to Michele Phinney at regs@dhmh.state.md.us.
