Speaker Michael Muempfer, M.Ed., Lead Specialist for Student Behavior and School Climate at the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), will discuss positive behavior supports being implemented by MSDE, a move away from restraints and seclusion.

Speaker Pattie Archuleta, Family Health Information Center Project Coordinator at The Parents’ Place of Maryland, will focus on helping parents “let go” with focus on healthcare portion of transition as youth assume control over their own healthcare.
