Autism Language Study

Researchers at The Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine, Department of Neurology, Cognitive Neurology/Neuropsychology group are recruiting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders for a study to gain a better understanding of learning, memory, language, and cognition.

The study consists of behavioral testing conducted by trained research assistants. Evaluations will be conducted at our testing site in Fells Point, Baltimore (MD). The number of sessions varies depending on the individual. This research is non-invasive and should not interfere with any other rehabilitation that the individual may be involved with. Families will be compensated for the time.

Specifically we are seeking individuals with:
• A diagnosis of Autism (can be high or low functioning)
• 5 years old or older
• No peripheral blindness or deafness
• Stable health
• Have a responsible caregiver who will accompany individual to research site in Fell’s Point
• Have minimal behavioral impairments
