Study of Toddlers with Autism and Regression (STAR) Protocol Biomarkers of Inflammation and Immune activation in ASD - a Pilot Study

Research Study on Autism and Regression in Toddlers 

The Center for Autism and Related Disorders is seeking young children with autism (18-42 months) to participate in a research study on regression. Children with and without regression may join the study.

Eligible participants will have an initial 30-45 minute phone interview to verify eligibility and then a study visit at the CARD clinic which will take about 3 hours and will include a medical exam, developmental testing and blood. Each participant will receive a $50 reimbursement for time and travel costs associated with the study.

There are no significant risks or direct benefits for participating. This study has been reviewed and approved by the Johns Hopkins Institutional Review Board.
